If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase you may return it within 30 days of receiving it. You will be responsible to repack the item in its original box and the returning cost. We will only accept return items if its in its original condition and packaging, ie. no rips or stains. Please take a photo of the product and packaging then email to us at firstname.lastname@example.org to initiate a return. We do not accept returns on sale items, clearance items, and custom orders. Please note, full amount of purchase will be refunded to your credit card minus the shipping cost we paid to ship your item, an invoice of our shipping fee will be provided to you when we initial the refund.
Once we have received and inspected the return item to be in the original condition we will initiate a refund to the original purchase method. Refunds usually take 2-4 weeks to be returned back to its original payment method.
Damaged or defected items:
We are very sorry if you received your items damaged or defected. We work very hard to ensure all products are properly packaged and we put stringent quality checks on each item but in the unlikely event the product is damaged please email us with photos to email@example.com within 48 hrs of receiving it to make a claim. We will either repair it or send you a new piece. Please examine the packaging for any physical damages, alert the driver, take photos and email us right away so we can start a claim. We pay extra for insurance coverage to cover any delivery damages made by the delivery companies, this way we can get reimbursed to send you a new product. If you fail to submit any damages to the box we will assume the damage was caused by mishandling on your end.
Unfortunately if you have purchase the product as a clearance or final sale item you will not be able to claim it as it is sold in the condition as is. But don’t worry we will not sell you structurally unsafe products.
Pre-orders means we do not have the item in stock and we offer a discount on the item if you purchase it in full and wait until it restocks. It could take 2-6 months to restock an item but sometimes the item is already on its way and could restock in weeks. Please reach out to us and ask us when the pre-order item will be in stock before you make the purchase. Please note we can not cancel preorder purchases.
We work with third party delivery and shipping companies. For small to mid-size parcels we work with UPS, Canada Post and Fedex which can provide tracking numbers. For large parcels we work with independent delivery companies. Once the order have been received we will be in contact with you within 48 hrs to schedule a day for delivery.
We provide a complementary 1 year warranty on genuine leather goods against peeling and rips and the structural of the product. 1 year warranty for foam, downfilled and cushions. Please note that with all foam products, a slight loss of resiliency is to be expected and is not a defect. For all warranty claims you are responsible for the shipping of the product which includes the shipping it cost from the factory to our warehouse and then to you, we are only responsible to replace the product itself.
There is a 2 year complementary warranty for all LED bulbs, components and drivers. Please be aware that most of our integrated LED lights are not compatible with dimmers and warranty will be voided if a dimmer switch is used with our products. If the integrated LED lights works with dimmers it will be indicated in the description.
5 year warranty of the framing and structure of the lights are provided against tarnishes and rust.
If within the warranty period of owning a Modern Concept product and issues arise we will first repair the item and if it’s deemed unrepairable we will replace the item with the same or an equivalent product but you are responsible for the shipping fee of the product plus any duties imposed by customs. For missing or replaceable damaged parts Modern Concept will mail it out to you free of charge within 48 hrs if the part is in stock. If we have to order the part it will take 6-10 weeks for the part to be shipped. Signs of commercial use, animal damages, abnormal use or abuse will void the warranty. For repairs, we will reimburse local repair charges but the repair service quote must be approved by Modern Concept first.
